Ezura for Fashion for Life

Have you been to Fashion for Life yet?  I’ve been and it was wonderfully non-laggy!  It’s also for a very good cause, so please find time to go shop ’til you drop before it ends on Tuesday, March 20.  Tonight I want to show you Ezura’s offerings for FFL – all beautiful gothy outfits.

Well, this one isn’t particularly gothy, is it?  No, it’s a beautiful, form-fitting mesh gown called Aria in a limited edition color for FFL.  It hugs every curve dramatically and is a dream to wear.  It comes in several sizes to fit any just about anyone.  I had to bring out my favorite hairstyle from the last six months, the Callista style from Exile.  I really love this hairstyle!  I’m wearing some beautiful new earrings called Ribbon Classic from +:+WTG+:+ which are color change – the metals, pearls, and diamonds – into several colors.

Now, *this* is gothic!  Isn’t it just gorgeous?  It’s the new Gothic Lolita Coat Dress created just for FFL.   Look at that fancy jabot with the chain details.  I love how Ezura matched the pattern of the jabot on the cuffs.  This is a must-have outfit for any gothic lolita.  The dramatic makeup is new from Matrioska.  Ghani released three new skins with the makeup on separate tattoo layers so you can wear them with other skins.  I’ve added the Deva makeup to my Illusory Paige skin.  The boots are the latest release from Lassitude & Ennui – the Wanderlust boots in black.  They’re mesh and fit perfectly.  I just love mesh!  Look how the ankle bends with any pose!  No more “broken” ankle joints!

I was having Internet connection problems and ended up photographing this outfit in multiple sessions.  I decided to change my hair to the new release from Exile for the Dressing Room, but really should have used the makeup worn in the left picture for all of them.  If you click to enlarge, you’ll see I’m wearing another new Matrioska makeup called Samara.  But, anyway, the dress!  Isn’t it pretty!  The Insomnia Dark Lolita set comes with the  top, corset, and jacket on separate layers in case you want to be naughty and bare your breasts.  The skirt is wonderfully lacy and almost feathery and comes with a matching tiny jacket and arm and wrist embellishments.  I’m also wearing the matching necklace for the earrings in my last picture.  Gorgeous pearls and diamonds in either black or white with three choices of metals.  I just love +:+WTG+:+!  Such exquisite jewelry!  How about those shoes?  How cool are they?  Here’s a closeup for you.  Click if you want to see it ridiculously large. 😀  It’s the fourth donation item from Ezura for FFL.

Latex Loveliness from Ezura

I’ve been away so long!  December really kicked my butt in RL.  I received these beautiful Lolita Latex platform boots and dress from Ezura way back in the second week of December and tried them on immediately.  I logged back in after over two weeks of inactivity to find that the dress was still as gorgeous as I remembered.  Look at this latex loveliness.

I will be honest with you – I’m not a big fan of latex.  Mostly because I’m not a pants wearer and most latex outfits consist of skin-tight pants and tops.  But this is gorgeous latex!  Ezura does some of the best latex I’ve seen, and I don’t even have to wear pants!  And look what she did with the top – how cute is that ruffled sleeveless bodice with the little cameo embellishment?  I just love this dress!  The dress comes with two different skirts,  too.  I’m wearing the lolita skirt on the left and a sculpted, tulip skirt on the right.  The platform boots are a perfect match, of course, since Ezura planned it that way.  But they are very believably latexy.  (Shhh. You know what I mean.)  This perfect skin is Belleza’s group Christmas gift.  Such a beautiful skin!  Why do I keep forgetting how fecking awesome Belleza’s skins are?  Maybe coz they rarely come in the palest of pale tones that I prefer, but this one is certainly pale enough.  The cutie patootie hair is the current group gift from D!va – they have over 25,000 members!  Holy crap!  25,000!  D!va also has just redone her textures, and they are even prettier than before.  Love!

I’ve been back inworld for over a week now and I’ve just been trying to catch up on all the gifts and sales.  I figured I’d better blog this before I spent any more time hunting, etc.  I don’t want people to think that I’ve given up blogging all together!  I just can’t devote as much time to it as I once did due to RL changes that keep me busier than before.    But, in any case, I hope you enjoyed my ramblings and observances, and until next time….

Newbie Style Challenge II

So, I feel kinda bad coz ever since I read that Gogo was doing another Newbie Style Challenge, I’ve been practically AWOL as Desiree.  I love creating new avatars, but since LL did away with last names, I was not thrilled with being BlanketyBlank Resident.  Ewwww.  What a horrible development.  But Gogo tipped us all off that the Library of Birmingham’s entrance portal still has names available.  That was all I needed to decide that the challenge was on!

I rezzed inworld as Katastrophic Hurricane (lol) on November 5th and have been having so much fun ever since.  Nothing like a new challenge to rev up one’s SL, huh?  The challenge is to create a new avatar and spend no more than L$550 to pimp him or her out.  Because freebie challenges have gotten a bad rap – designers depend on people spending lindens, not just grabbing freebies all the time – Gogo encouraged people to spend a little.  I have spent some lindens on Kat – a total of L$159 so far, but honestly, for this post, I spent only about L$10, thanks to gridwide hunts, lucky chairs, midnight manias, group gifts, and the wonderful FabFree store.

This is my favorite of the new looks.  The skin is available at the FabFree store from Imagen – it’s an older skin, but I’ve always loved the Lia skins.  I added tattoo layer makeup from MOCK, also free at the FabFree store.  I picked up the shape, which I’m wearing throughout this post, from Salt and Pepper for the Mushroom Hunt.  The cute necklace is also a Mushroom Hunt gift – this one from EY:NO.   I have to say that I’ve fallen in love with this quirky little shape.  My daughter, who is an art student, swears that this face is completely unrealistic – the features are too large for the head, but I don’t care.  There’s just something so wistful and sad, and a bit alien about her.  As I pointed out to her, SL avatars don’t have to be realistic!

My next look is thanks to the lucky board at Blue Blood.  I stalked those boards for quite a few hours, I must admit, trying to get this pink version.  Yes, very funny coz I’m Blue Blood’s “official” blogger – I update the store blog, and I could have easily just asked Ghani for the dresses, but that wouldn’t have been fair.  One of the challenge’s rules is that you cannot get your designer friends to give you stuff.  The shoes are the latest subscriber welcome gift from G Field, by the way.  I don’t think I have these for Desiree!  The cute hair is the Snow White hair from Bubblez Designs, available at the Bloggers R Us shop.  The skin is a brand new group gift from [VoiD], and I’ve added tattoo eyemakeup and lipstick layers, also available from [VoiD].  I admit the makeup was a gift from False Imako of VoiD.  I thanked her for putting out a newbie kit for those under 30 days old, and I asked her where the tattoo layer makeups were located, and voila, she gave me these!  Since I didn’t “request” the items, I’m going to use them!  (*sticks out tongue*)

Speaking of [VoiD]’s newbie kit, here’s the lovely, slightly battered skin that’s available free for new avatars.  You get the skin, eyelashes, eyes, a shape, a top, jeans, and even a basic girly AO.  I’ve added a tattoo from Para Designs called “Bleeding Eyes.”  The outfit was free from Pinkmare’s House.  I think it was a MM prize, but I don’t recall coz there are five lucky’s there, plus a MM board.  After about a week, I have quite a few Pinkmare’s outfits.  The hair is from Exile, which has a bunch of freebies at the mainstore.

Last, but certainly not least, I hit up Sn@tch to see what Ivey had for the new players.  Although I couldn’t find the “new player kit” at the mainstore, I did find this cute outfit, including the earrings, at the FabFree store.  The skin is a freebie from Weird Designs; I’m not sure whether you have to join the group or not, but if so, it’s free to join.  The pumps are still the new subscriber gift from Maitreya – a bunch of colors, just for slapping a subscriber board.  Nice!  The hair is the new celebration gift from Dura – again, the group is free to join.

Ezura Goes Cyber Goth

I’ve been sitting on these outfits for over a week now.  At first, I didn’t think I was going to do a post on them coz they’re not really my forte.  But then I tried one of them on.  Skin tight, translucent latex, glowing cyber parts that can change to any color you can imagine. I fell in love.  I wanted to do them “right.”  I searched for post apocalyptic cyber-type sims.  I tp’d around looking for just the right place to complement their awesomeness.  I failed miserably.  I tp’d back to my same old, same old photo studio and snapped some pictures.  I ruminated, I sighed, and I vowed not to post them after all.  Yet, they are awesome, and you really should see them.  So here I am, showing them to you in the most inadequate of ways, but nevertheless, showing them to you.  sigh

This is Ezura’s Digi Cyber Latex in silver (a/k/a white).  Do you see all the different ways you can wear it?  I had so much fun playing with this!  It comes with two long skirts – one open in front and one with more coverage.  It also comes with the hip ruffles in case you want a sexier look.  You can choose whether you want to wear the latex undershirt and pants or not (no latex undies worn on the far left), or whether you like all your pieces semi-transparent (2nd from left).  My favorite is the sheer latex undies with the little hip ruffles (middle pic).  It comes with those neat little disks that attach to your belly, hips, wrists, and shoulders.  You also get a head piece and collar with the same glowing disks.  Via HUD you can change the metal color and the glow color (as mentioned previously – an unlimited number of colors).  The boots are available for purchase separately and match the outfits perfectly.  The boots also have glowing parts that you can change via HUD; even the bottoms of the boots glow, which looks cool when you lift your feet.  Here’s a closeup of the silver Digi Cyber Latex outfit.

I loved wearing this so much, I really didn’t want to take it off.  Honestly, I’ve been wearing the three colors of this outfit for several days now, and I’ve actually gotten quite a few compliments on it. 😀   Oh, I love those gloves, too.  I love how some of the fingers are completely uncovered, and some are uncovered only on the fingertips.  This is one seriously well-made,  well-drawn outfit.

The Digi Cyber Latex outfit comes in three colors, silver (shown above), black, and red.  I totally messed up the black version trying to be artsy fartsy, so I don’t have that one to show you.  You can imagine how deliciously wicked it is.  I did take a few shots of the red one, though.  Here you can see maybe what I was trying to do (although I failed lol).  The reason these pics are not as high resolution as the ones above is becoz I was also playing around with different SL viewers, and these were taken on a viewer where I did not have high resolution and anti-aliasing turned on.  So, they’re very pixelated.

I was going for a cyborg look with this skin that I picked up at the Another Fundraiser II event.  The skin is made by Coffee Biscuit on the Mina Jun free skin bases.  All proceeds (only L$50 for the skin and a shape) go to Red Cross efforts in Japan.  The hair I’m wearing in all pictures here is from DV8 – the Pandora Cyberfalls, which are only L$100 per color pack (which I think is a very reasonable price for cool, glowing, cyber locks).  Well, I hope you enjoyed my feeble attempt to show you the awesomeness of these latex outfits.  Well, I hope your curiosity about the outfits was piqued, at least.  Until next time….

Ezura – Lolita Crown Accessories

I’m still trying to catch up on blogging all the wonderful new things in my inventory – or at least my favorites.  Ezura’s Lolita Crown accessories are definitely some of my favorite new things.  These are made to complement Ezura’s Lolita Crown dresses.  Since I’ve never blogged them before, I’ll take the opportunity to show you the complete outfit now.  And, oh my, this is a beautiful, sexy, and very versatile outfit.  Take a look.

Lolita Crown comes with two top options – sheer and opaque, and three skirts – the erotic skirt (far right), lolita skirt (third from left), and a mini lolita (second from left).  Without the skirts, it’s a sexy lingerie outfit.  Yummy!

The new items are the matching frilly ankle boots, the lacy cuffs, the beribboned lace chokers, and the crown and staff.  Everything is scripted via HUD for size change, and the crown and staff are also scripted to change color.  The boots are scripted to change color for the boot itself (solid or patterned), the sole, and the heel.  Here, I’m wearing one of ploom’s new hair releases – Ava, a high updo, with sideswept bangs, and undone pieces framing your face.  As I mentioned before, ploom hair now comes with only two hairs in a pack – streaked and unstreaked.  You change the colors via HUD.  Love that!  Now let’s look at the sexy red version of Lolita Crown.

Delish!  Make sure to click to see the pics larger – you’ll want to enjoy all the details on these gorgeous outfits.  I love the black lace cut sleeves and the brocade corset with a subtle fleur-de-lis pattern and crown-motif buttons.  I love how Ezura has continued the crown motif subtly on the skirt pattern.  I love the little crown buckles on the garters, and I’m always a sucker for a bustled skirt, especially this open-front style.  The bustle is gathered with – again – little crowns adorned with bows.  I also love how Ezura made the mini skirt a shorter version of the erotic skirt.  Since each skirt is just as sexy and pretty as the others, it’s hard to choose which one to wear!

I have to also mention the skin.  I’m simply in love with this skin.  It’s one of the four group gift skins from Mynerva.  There’s a L$50 join fee, but you get four skins!  One is a “normal” skin without theatrics, one is like this one but without the blush and with subtler liptstick, and the last is a kitty face makeup. 😀  On my “to-do” list – try on all those demos I grabbed from Mynerva!  Here’s the purple Lolita Crown outfit.

Sorry, but I forgot to take a pic of the lingerie version.  You can imagine it, I’m sure.  😉  Oh, this hair is also from ploom, the Amerlee style that I blogged previously.  I love the colors of ploom’s hair.  Her palette matches all of my favorite goth designers’ palettes.  It’s always just serendipity for me when I wear ploom.  (Ok, confession time.  Does my hair look a little weird in that pic above?  Well, you know the multiple wear option can be a wonderful thing in the new viewers, but … lol.  Yeah, I had no idea that I was actually wearing two hairs.  It didn’t become evident until I changed to the silver hair below and still kept seeing purple. lol  I looked at the pics I’d taken and decided it wasn’t that noticeable, so I didn’t retake the pics.  But I wanted to mention it in case you noticed something amiss.  I think SL was just being wonky last night.)  Ok, I saved my favorite for last.

Oh, goodness!  I love white gothic, don’t you?  The juxtaposition of the erotic and the pure!  Please click to see this one bigger – it’s so worth it!  I’ll be wearing this around the grid as I go hunting and gathering, for sure.

Yes, +ezura+’s latest releases are inspired by the Chinese New Year celebration.  There’s even one that is only a dollar for VIP group members, and there’s a pretty jade bracelet in the VIP lucky board.   The first new outfit is called Li Xiu and only comes in this black color.  It’s a sexy, barely covered ensemble for when you want to look bad-ass in the wastelands. 😛

It comes with just one legwarmer coz it’s sexier like that.  Really, two legwarmers would have been too much, I think.  Remember, if you’re using Phoenix, you can just right click and choose add so that you can still wear your boots, too.  I love that all the prim pieces are resizeable via script – it took literally seconds for me to fit this whole outfit.  /

Here’s the VIP dollarbie – it’s the red version of the other new outfit – Li Xiu Qipao.  It comes with all the pieces you see, except for the boots.  You can definitely see the Asian influence on this outfit.

+ezura+ VIP Gifts and New Willow Dresses

I can’t believe I’ve never blogged +ezura+ before.  I mean, it’s a goth clothing store, and I’m primarily a goth clothing blogger.  Duh!  Well, this post will remedy that failing of mine.  If you’re a member of +ezura+’s VIP group, you probably already know about the gorgeous group gifts that are available right now.  If you’re not a member, you may drool and wish you could have them.  Unfortunately, the group is closed until the gifts are removed.  *But* maybe you’ll think about joining the group, especially now that you have 42 spaces to fill, right?  Ezura is giving away a special color of the new release Willow gown with three skirt options plus matching pumps to her VIP group.  Look at this beautiful dress!

It’s a lovely midnight blue, isn’t it?  It comes with three skirt options – the ero (for erotic) skirt shown above, as well as the skirts shown below.

Left to right, there’s the full gown skirt, the split (or slit?) skirt, and the sheer skirt, which is almost as erotic as the ero skirt, I think.  Now, the choker is not included with the gown.  It’s the Crepuscule choker from LouLou&Co that I blogged yesterday.  So, isn’t that a wonderful gift from Ms. Ezura?  You’d think that would be enough, right?  But no!  There’s also a VIP group only lucky board that has the miniskirt version of this dress.  Here’s a quick shot of it for you.

By the way, the hair worn in this post is new from ploom.  It’s called Olivia and comes with both streaked and unstreaked versions in the pack.  The streaks are chosen via HUD and include every color in the ploom palette.  (I love that HUD!)  The skin I’m wearing is from Nomine, just like yesterday’s post.  Go get you some L$100 single makeups or L$350 packs of 5 skins before Munch comes to her senses and puts the prices back up!

+ezura+ also released the Willow gown in several other jewel-toned colors, including emerald green and black, but I’m going to show you the lovely teal.

You can buy the dress in one of two ways.  The options shown above are from the Mini and Ero set, named for the two types of skirts included.  If you prefer, you can choose the gown set, shown below.

Just as with the VIP group gift, the Willow Gown set comes with a sheer skirt, a full gown skirt, and a split (or slit) skirt.  I’m wearing Violent Seduction’s new boots once again here – these are the Esther Boots in Death (black).  They give the gowns a bit of edge, dontcha think?
