The Hunt is On at +++Blue Blood+++

Ghani has organized a little hunt at +++Blue Blood+++.  Find five little bunny heads and buy them for L$25 to get one of these cute little colors of Lilly.  The pink is my favorite, of course. 🙂

Lilly also comes in blue, green, cream, and lilac, shown below.  I’m wearing the new release from Sadistic Hacker – Claude.  Join the group and you’ll get this hair in a champagne pink for free.

I did the pictures of the cream dress first and afterward rethought the white shoes.  Sorry I didn’t take the time to reshoot the dress with the black shoes.  I was rushing a bit.

The hunt will only last until July 12th, and after that the dresses will never be available again.  Ghani promises that all the dresses are hidden inside the store, so there’s no need to wander around the sim.  So, get hunting!

“Silent Lion Troupe?” you ask.  Yes, there’s a new daily sale event, the brainchild of Auguste Finistair, called Silent Lion Troupe and Blue Blood will be a part of it twice this month.  You can read all about it here, but all you need to know *right this minute* is that this dress is available *only today* for only L$75.  Blue Blood’s Summer is an exclusive item, so if you want it, today’s your only chance.  And look at this cuteness!  I hate summertime, but I am soooo in love with Summer!

Awwwwww, so kawaii, no?  It’s so delicate and innocent, with gorgeous hand-drawn, hand-painted lace edges and sheer fabric  on the skirt.  Warning… this is another one of those dresses that I stared and drooled at.  Take a closer look.

Awwwww it has flowers and moons embossed on the fabric.  This dress reminds me so much of the sweet dresses my mother would sew for me when I was a little girl.  I remember going with her to the fabric store to select the fabric and pattern for my new dress.  I used to love fabric like this and how I could see my hand through it when I held it up.  I actually got a little vaclempt looking closer at Ghani’s fabric.  Look at this detail. Violent Seduction New Releases Nymph and Bao

Violent Seduction has released the cutest new avatars named Nymph, a creation Ikaru Aichi calls a sort of alien, and yes, resistance is futile. How can you resist this cuteness??

To go with Nymph, or even alone, Ikaru has released a new hair called Bao, which features two little “bao baos” or hair pom poms.  Nymph comes in five colors – Life (violet), Ice (green), Warmth (peach), Love (pink), and Ocean (blue), shown below.

I’m also wearing Bao in all the photos above – colors, left to right – Dusk, Cold, Platinum, Fade, and Evening.  Bao is available in three color packs – Pastels (dusk, fade, ice, leaf, and pulled sugar), Colours (blood, cold, evening, slime, and sugar rush), and Naturals (death, platinum, and snow).  Here is a closeup composite.

Nymph comes with the skin, ears, tail, and hooves, and as you can see, looks great without any clothes at all.  However, to really crank up the cuteness factor, pair it with Ikaru’s recent release Hey Sailor (available in the Gacha machine).  (awwww)   You can see more photos of the cuteness on the Violent Seduction blog here.  Ikaru has taken some amazing photos.

Dilly Dolls – Tons of New Releases!

Oriana Kuhr is one of those restless creative people.  She’s just completed another reworking of her store, so make sure to grab the new LM at the end of this post.  The old one would probably still work, but you might end up on the roof or something.  Even with all the work involved in rebuilding her store, she’s still managed to create new releases for us.  In this post, I’ll give you just a small sample of what you can find in the new store.  First up, Riding Hood II – a dark version of the dress from the famous fairy tale.

Riding Hood II comes with the basket, hood, cloak, and the cute mary janes with little red hearts.  I think my favorite part of this dress are the sculpted sleeves.  The black lace and bows just make me squeee.  I also love Oriana’s dolly/mary jane shoes and wear them all the time.  I wore these shoes in yesterday’s post with the new Blue Blood release, Simone.  Oriana has also created hair to go with the hood of this outfit.  Riding Hood Hair II comes in blacks, blondes, browns, deeps, reds, and two rainbow packs.  They are size and color scripted, so they won’t clog up your inventory.  Here’s the hair without the hood.

As you can see, it works really well without the hood and would also work with many other head adornments (i.e. hats).  The eyes worn in the above two composites are also new from Dilly Dolls.  Oriana has released two types – the Decun eyes and the Kolan eyes; the Decun are darker.  Worn above are the Kolan eyes in grey and brown.  Oh!  The lashes!  Those are new from Dilly Dolls, too!  They’re prim lashes (no alpha textures) so they won’t interfere with your hair like alpha lashes will. Yay!

Finally, you may have noticed that the skins are new as well.  Here’s a composite of the four new doll makeups Oriana has created.  Click to make it ginormous.

All makeups shown are in the Paste tone, but they also come in four other tones; Paste is the lightest.  On the top left is Janna; top right – Lorraine; bottom left – Feather (my favorite); and bottom right – Fiona.  I’ve found that there’s a significant difference in the look of these skins depending on your graphics card.  They look fantastic on my bitchin’ desktop. 🙂  I’m also wearing two other Kolan eyes – the green and the violet.  They also come in blue, pink, red, and teal.

Whew!  That’s a lot of new release, Oriana!  Go take a break – you deserve it!

Violent Seduction Makes Me Squeeeee!

Ikaru Aichi of Violent Seduction is a *very* talented designer.  She makes amazing outfits chock full of gothic lolita loveliness.  Her recent release, Princess Ero made me squeal with delight more and more with each color I tried on.  But this is another case where a picture is worth a thousand words.  I’ll let Ms. Aichi’s designs speak for themselves.

Before I go on, a warning – this is a picture heavy post.  If it gets cut off on the feeds, please see the rest at my home page.  Princess Ero comes in four colors – white, black, pink, and retro (shown above).  Each color comes with at least three skirts; the white comes with one extra for a total of four skirts.  With each you get a caged skirt (my fave), a short skirt (very wide), and a long skirt (gown).  Look at the other two skirt options for the Retro color.

Another amazing thing about Princess Ero is that Ms. Aichi has made a sculpted corset for each color.  Each outfit also comes with a bra on the shirt layer and a glitch corset on the undershirt layer.  (That’s so your skin won’t show through when you move.)  The corset is really not difficult to fit if you have a basic understanding of modding prims.  (Just edit, stretch (both sides) and drag the little white squares, stopping to adjust the position until you’re happy.  Make sure you’re on a posestand!)  Ikaru says that these corsets work best on smaller avatars (not 7 foot tall quad-D breasted ones).  I did notice some hiding of my arms by the invisiprims in the corset in some poses, but I choose to enjoy the overall beauty of the outfit instead of nitpicking.  Some of the colors come with garters and stockings, while others (as you will see below) come with bloomers, shorts, and stockings.  An incredible amount of work went into these outfits and I am so in love with them.  (Did you get that so far? lol)

Omg – the black and white!  This is my favorite.. I think… I don’t know; I love them all!  Here are the skirt options.

I’ll just shut up and show you the pink next.  This one comes with a heart-shaped eyepatch!!

How cute is that??  Oh, I almost forgot!  You also get matching little Japanese style lace-edged booties with each color.  Both the skirt top and the corset bottom have the white lace edging, making them very mix-and-matchable.  So, you can easily wear the corsets with other outfits.

Ok.. last one… the white.  Ready for this??  It’s also a bridal outfit!  That’s right, it comes with a fourth skirt… a longer caged skirt (called “wedding skirt”), plus a veil.

Sigh… so happy I am.  Beautiful these corsets are. mmmm hmmmm.  Sorry, channeled Yoda for a moment there.  Ewwww… I just pictured Yoda wearing one of these corsets….. Dont’ go there!  But do go to Violent Seduction and check out Princess Ero for yourself.  Hope you enjoyed. 🙂

Forgive the blogger spammage, but I’ve finally a bit of time to blog some stuff I’ve been holding onto.  Rotten Toe has a new release – a cute little lolita dress called Lolli Scissors – so named coz the crossbones under the skullies are actually scissors.  Cute. 🙂

It comes with the little ribbon choker.  It also comes in several colors besides the pink I’m showing, and the price tag is very reasonable – well under L$200.  Find it in the side room to the right of the entrance, just past the stairs.  Oh, Rotten Toe still has some buttcrack flashing green shiny pants on the counter for group members, as well as a fairly new black dress in the Lucky Chair upstairs.  I’ve been unsuccessful at acquiring said freebie, or I’d totally be flashing it to you here.  

Before I go, check out the hair – it’s the new release from Kitsune Couture, one of my favorite little hair shops, called “Springy.”   There’s still a secret sale hair available there, too, along with the usual wall of freebies/cheapies.  Just mouse over and look  for “Lovely” and you can get color packs for L$10 or the fatpack for only L$30.

Oh, yes, Cake and Kisses is a much better proposition than “Cake or Death” wouldn’t you say?  This is a semi-new little dolly available at The Dollhouse at LVS.  I love LVS and I really miss those hunts at LVS Drive.  They don’t seem to happen as often as they used to.  I’m sure Ravenlynn Templar has been busier than usual in RL.  But she’s still creating, that’s for sure.  I picked up this little cutie for half price (L$50) over the weekend.  Sadly, it’s back to full price again, but it’s well worth L$100, wouldn’t you say?

The hair is a crazy “do” I picked up at Waka & Yuki.  I’m pretty sure it was only a linden.  There were around 10 boxes of free or almost free hair on a cart outside the Peppermint Blue  freebie shop.  The boots are from Anexx – oh my goodness, that sale was to die for, wasn’t it??  The yummy candy necklace with the ring pop in my mouf is a new dollarbie at [chuculet] which was released over the weekend.  It also comes in several other flavors.

By the way, I’m trying something a bit different with the blog.  I never have time to find something cool to throw on, *and* take the photos, *and* GIMP the photos, *and* write the blog post on weekdays.  (Hey, I work for a living!)  So, I’ve decided that Saturdays will be my photo studio day.  I’ve taken enough shots to last the week.  Unfortunately, that means that some of my items won’t be brand spanking new, but then again, they usually aren’t.  🙂

(*sarcasm off*).  But seriously, folks, there are some cute new underpants on the grid, thanks to a collaboration between Theodore DuCasse of Zanzo and Ghanima Uriza of Blue Blood.  Boys and girls can both wear them, but some are definitely just for the guys.  So, ladies (or guys), you’ll have to bring your men over to Valmai to check out some of those.  The ones I’m wearing below are unisex.  Some have cute little hand drawn critters on them, courtesy of Ghanima.  The boxers can be worn as shorts by us girls.  I just suggest you throw a tank on. 😉

Christmas Prezzies from Dilly Dolls

Whooot Oriana’s back from renovating her store and sim and she has come bearing gifts. You really need to check out the lucky “chairs” she built.  They are to the right when you walk in the store.  Words fail me to describe how awesome it looks.  All I could say was “Wow!”  Before I start showing you the gifts, I had to grab this dress (a *steal* at L$100).  I must have missed this when it first came out, but it’s a lovely new-to-me frock,  called Shandi, in a lovely monochrome shade, which comes with optional lingerie beneath.  It also comes in many other colors.  The hair is a newer style from Nightshade called Lenore.

I’m also wearing one of the Dilly Dolls Christmas gifts, the Buckled Snowflake Dolly Pumps.  (Ignore the black straps above the pumps, I failed at removing the straps from the last pair of shoes I had on. O_0)

Sisters

Hi, y’all.  Hope your week is going well.  I’m a slow blogger coz I picked up the outfits below over the weekend when I got a subscribo notice from an interesting shop, Sisters.  She was announcing some new releases and a new dress added to the Lucky Chair.  So, I TP’d on over, having nothing better to do (*ahem*).  Picked up the blue dress in the back of the store – it’s a dollarbie. Won the tan dress in the lucky chair, *had* to buy the pink one (me ❤ pink), and then won the brown dress in the lucky chair.  Unfortunately, I didn’t win the new Lucky Chair dress, but there’s always tomorrow. 

While I was there waiting and waiting and waiting (ad nauseum) for the place to fully rez, not one, not two, but three times in a row (!) the lucky letter T came up – much to the delight of Tanya or Tina or whatever her name was. lol  I told her she should go buy a lottery ticket immediately. 😀

Anyway, my opinion of this store is that the designs are quite interesting in a kawaii kind of way.  It’s really too bad the vendors are so poorly lit; it makes it really hard to see the outfits.   Perhaps the designer could just use one of those glaring face lights to brighten up her photos.  (Of course *I* never use those. *ahem* *cough*) 😉  A big plus is that her prices are quite reasonable – most outfits are L$100 or less.
