Des Goes to the Jewelry Fair, Part Two

Well, you know me.  I can’t just show jewelry, even if it is gorgeous jewelry.  Jewelry is just one part of an ensemble.  Without a dress or other clothing, the jewelry is sort of incomplete.  So, in order to show you more Jewelry Fair items, I found some gorgeous free/almost free outfits to pair them with.  First up, Evie’s Closet has a lovely frock in the lucky chair, which I was lucky enough to win.  It’s a special Halloween edition of the Fable dress in the short skirted version only.  The full outfit with several skirt options is available to purchase as well.

The skin is a free preview from Heartsick and is cute as can be with the little red heart shaped lipstick.  Evie’s dress is just perfect, too.  I love the little prim bows on the corset and the variegated texturing on the skirt.  Such beautiful work!  The boots are a brand new release from G Field (another of my favorite shoemakers).  These black boots have color change accents on the toes and rose – black, gold, or silver.  The roses on the boots also have a hide option.  The jewelry is the Jewelry Fair gift from Donna Flora – the Norez choker and earrings.

Next up, some of U & R Dogs’ Jewelry Fair offerings.  U & R Dogs is one of my favorite jewelry stores.  I love how their jewelry sparkles without bling.  I have no idea how they get it to do that, but it’s almost like there’s some scripting going on to make the textures sort of move.  In any case, it’s awesome, and their prices are always reasonable, too.

Here I’m wearing a dollarbie gown from Phoenix Rising in a opulent blood red.  The bracelet is the Jewelry Fair gift from U & R Dogs.  Please click to see the pic larger because I adore the lip piercing.  It’s the Westphalia Lovelet in silver, which may be the only lip piercing you’ll ever need.  Why?  Well, because you can choose to hide or show each section of this complex piece, as well as individually size and adjust each part.  Don’t you just hate when you can’t adjust complex pieces like this?  I know I do.  The Candide Pierced earrings and the Zemfira rings and nails are scripted similarly to the Westphalia lip piercing.  You can hide some of the multiple earrings and rings and adjust everything for size and position.  The Zemfira rings actually are a prim nail set.  If I had had more time, I know I could have gotten the prim nails to fit beautifully.  Since I was rushed, however, I just chose to hide them so that I could “get to press” with this post. 🙂  Finally, the necklace is by fairy tail called Joker BonBons.  Here’s one more composite showing the stunning gown and jewelry.  The dress is called Red Wind – quite a propos, I think – because the gown skirt looks like it’s blowing in the wind even when you’re standing still.  It also moves like a dream.  Best of all – it’s L$1!  Fairy tail also has a pretty, free bracelet at the Jewelry Fair with color change metals and accent parts.  (You can see it in the left-hand picture below.  Please click to make the pics larger.)

Happy hunting, gathering, shopping, lovin’ (^ ^), etc. *mwah*!
