Three Little Things

I don’t usually do blogger challenges, but I saw this one posted by Samara Barzane at The 3 Fashionteers, about the three things that you couldn’t part with, and decided to throw my two cents (or three things) in.

So, my three things are – my Marlys Slim Pixie hair – favorite shade – Silver.  It was one of the first wigs I ever bought in SL – maybe even *the* first.  I actually lost the original during a major inventory debacle about a year ago, but managed to pick up the fatpack at a ridiculous price when Marlys closed forever a few months ago.  Why do I love it?  No, it’s not just sentimental.  It’s low lag!  Also, it shows my entire face, so it’s perfect for trying on new skins.

That one was easy to choose.  So, number two, the boots – Valerian Girls Black by First Flower – much blogged when they first came out and still my “go to” boots for almost any goth look.  Gorgeous and reasonably priced.  And yes, they come in many other colors, too.

The third thing was really hard to choose.  Should I choose a skin? or eyes? or my photo studio? or my AO?  Well, the photo studio was a freebie, and I’ve actually stripped it down and made my own now anyway.  So, I could easily make another if my inventory went “poof” (shut your mouf!).  Skin?  Well, there are so many that I’ve loved – I’m particularly stuck on Heartsick’s right now – that I couldn’t choose just one.  Eyes?  Well if Shine hadn’t come along, I would have said my Miriel Snow eyes, but I’ve fallen in love with Shine now.  My AO really should be my third thing coz I *never* take it off except to dance, pose, etc.  I *hate* the default waddle.  *hate, hate, hate*  I use one of VISTA’s AOs and I love it.

So, what is my third thing that I couldn’t part with?  My shape.  I was a shape shifter for awhile but I’ve been stuck on this one – Kirei’s Mary originally – for quite some time now.  I’ve modded her quite a bit and continue to mod her as needed.  But this is “me” for now.
